2nd grade traveled to Toowong Friday night to take on Wests. Wests started strong, scoring two quick early tries. The Irish played themselves back into the game with some good plays from half backs Bradley Holland and try scorer Mark Ormiston. Wests managed to score a few more tries to leave the final score Wests 32 Brisbane Irish 7.

Pegg Cup: Brisbane Hustlers vs Brisbane Irish
The Irish headed to Easts on Saturday looking to make it 3/3 in the Pegg Cup this season. Irish started well with Matt Smith touching down early. Three more tries from Mark Ormiston, Shane Murphy and Tom Benham in the first half gave the Irish the bonus point before the break. The Hustlers managed to score a scrappy try early in the second half but two more tries from Matt Smith and fullback Tom Benham left the final score Brisbane Hustlers 7 Brisbane Irish 40
