Then Brisbane Irish RFC is the rugby club for you!

Located 10 minutes north of the Brisbane CBD we field 3 Senior teams - 2 on Saturdays and 1 in the Friday night competition

In season 2008 our Reserve Grade side reached the Grand Final and by showing the never say die fighting spirit the club prides itself on, scored in the last minute to take out the club's first ever premiership 21 - 20

The season runs from  the end of March until the Grand Finals at the end of August with training at Hugh Courtney Oval, Kedron on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30pm starting in late January.

For those interested in playing rugby with The Irish we can offer a great camaraderie and friendly welcome combined with a excellent coaching structure and playing culture.

In order to assist Overseas or non Brisbane located players interested in coming to Brisbane to play with us we are keen to assist with you with finding employment and accommodation prior to your arrival. While we will provide you with every assistance in this area we cannot gaurantee employment or accommodation on every occasion.

For overseas players check your eligibility to be able to obtain a visa which will allow you work when in Australia. There is a simple to tool to check this at the Australia Government Immigration site here
