Coaching Appointments 2010

The Brisbane Irish Rugby Club are pleased to announce our Coaching Appointments for the 2010 season.

The club attracted a strong field of candidates for the vacant coaching positions in the club's three senior teams and are confident that the new coaching team will lead the Irish back into finals football next season.

The coaching team for 2010 is as follows:

Director of Rugby

Rob Donaghue

Returning to the club after a stint in Scotland, Rob will take on the role of Director of Rugby specifically focusing on coach development and player recruitment and retention strategies.

He will work closely with the club's coaching team in developing the club's playing style and ensuring that the club continues to provide an environment for players to reach their potential whilst enjoying their rugby.

Rob brings a great deal of enthusiasm and experience to the role having worked in development capacities with the Scottish Rugby Union and currently with the QLD Reds.
